Quality Specialist (Document Control)
Description
Phillips-Medisize is seeking a Quality Specialist (Document Control) who will support quality systems by updating, revising, and releasing quality system documentation in supporting our Costa Mesa, California location.
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Manage key quality processes (i.e., document control, change management)
- Support quality systems by collecting and providing information to internal and external customers and perform tasks such as generating engineering change orders, ensuring quality system paperwork is up-to-date and meets GMP compliance
- Support quality during audits and visits (i.e., customer, regulatory, registrar, internal)
- Manage customized ERP activities related to document and change management
- Assist in effectively communicating Quality metrics across all levels of the organization
- Assist with gathering, maintaining and reporting facility quality metrics
- Perform administrative duties in tracking facility training
- Work within a team environment to complete other quality related duties as assigned
- Some programs may have vision requirements
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Associate's degree OR a minimum of one (1) year of administrative or manufacturing experience
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience working in SAP

For this role, we anticipate paying $60k- $80k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
