Process Transformation Leader



We are seeking a Process Technical Supervisor at our Orange, TX plant to join our team. The Process Technical Supervisor is responsible for leadership and direct supervision of a team of Console Operators in the ADN Operating Area. This role will be a member of the Orange Shift Production Area Team (Shift PAT).

In this role as a PTL, you will work a flexible schedule which may include 12 hour rotating schedule, day shift as buisness needs dictate during certain time periods or events and have a commitment of time off between shift sets so that there is consistency in scheduled time. You will also connect the shift to economic performance of the operating units and how this impacts our market competitiveness.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Control Room Transformation and drive ownership and accountability for the production results.
  • Develop control room capabilities to run, maintain, optimize, improve our production units through advanced automation, APC, State Based Controls, and emerging technologies.
  • Guide shift team to adopt and create value from anomaly detection and predictive data analytic tools, such as Asset 360, Seeq, OSI PI, and other emerging technologies.
  • Partnering to develop console operations training to strengthen shift capability.
  • Guiding the shift to achieve site BETs by driving innovation, acting as principled entrepreneurs, and prioritizing and completing playbook initiatives.
  • Provide feedback through coaching, teaching, training and mentoring team members to support growth and personal development
  • Evaluate operational gaps and implements corrective action.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or industrial-related field plus demonstrated leadership experience


  • 5+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing or petrochemical facility


  • Able to meet the physical expectations as outlined in job description
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • Experience troubleshooting equipment issues and facilitating RCA, Cause Mapping, and Failure Mode Cause Analysis
    • Production / Process experience
    • DCS, Process engineering, or Control Room Operations experience

    Physical and Other Considerations:

    • Required to wear any or all the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, Nomex, gloves, and safety boots.
    • Ability to climb ladders and stairs to elevated platforms by ladder (includes egress), accessing multiple floors of open structures by stairway (includes egress)
    • Ability to work in all conditions (outside and inside) as well as operate a company vehicle
    • Must be able to pass a Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
