Molding Process Technician

SRG Global is seeking our next Molding Process Technician based in Evansville, IN. SRG Global's technicians are responsible for keeping the molding line operating and troubleshooting any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. The technicians will usually be required to perform a wide range of tasks around the molding process.

The shift in the role is 1:45pm to 10pm, Monday-Friday

Compensation is up to $28 hourly

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Perform programming of molding machines
  • Trouble-shoot molding process issues (flash, short-shots, sinks, splay, etc)
  • Assist in performing mold changes and set ups as required within scheduled mold change timeframes utilizing process and cycle sheets.
  • Coordinate mold set-up activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot mold problems, develop root cause and provide a quick permanent corrective action. Perform minor maintenance repair if needed.
  • Change-out/purge and maintain material and central material feed systems as needed.
  • Maintain robot arms and work cell assembly stations equipment.
  • Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and of company assets. Comply with all standard safety practices, safety guidelines and all Company guidelines and policies.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Adhere to Guardian’s 5-S Workplace Organization Program. Responsible for performing cleaning of molds and of entire cell areas.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Must possess a minimum of one year experience in injection molding manufacturing

  • Mold setup experience
  • Experience troubleshooting mold problems, develop root cause and provide a quick permanent corrective action
  • Experience working with hand tools, diagrams, blueprints, schematics, gauges, and measuring instruments
