Process Engineer

Guardian El Marques is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in advancing their career.

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible of controlling, stabilizing and improving the floating glass process to maximizing long-term value creation around Safety, Compliance, Quality and Internal and External Customer Service. As well as providing leadership and demonstrating a clear commitment to continuous improvement operations and advancing in the "principle-based management" culture.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Developing, implementing and maintaining operating process systems and work processes consistent with our management philosophies.
• Problem Solving applying techniques such as Shinning / Red X/ statistical tools /Root Cause Analysis/5Why's to drive the decisions and to improve the process.
• Supervise, coordinate, plan, and schedule major projects in manufacturing processes. • ·
• Define the settings and parameters of the glass melting and shaping processes and monitor compliance with them. (Current Process in charge), Experienced desired
• Manage inventory levels of the necessary materials for the proper functioning of the manufacturing process. In Charge of some administrative tasks with objective to improve them. • · Support the Operations team in a 24/7/365 environment, focus on risk mitigation and Create Value in all their Task. (Contribution Motivated). • · Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelors in engineering
• Experience with the use if Minitab and Excel
• Management of Macros and Pivot Charts as basic; Programming in Visual basic for Excel is a plus.
  
• Similar position experience
• Professional English Proficiency
