Cyber Security Engineer - Medical Devices

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Responsible for keeping cyber security Management process up to date with latest standards, guides, and market feedback
- Ensure that the design is safe, cyber security mitigations are implemented effectively and adheres to quality management system and software processes, and furthermore, to ensure that documentation is created and maintained
- Lead cyber security activities across software, sites, domains, teams, and projects
- Ensure that devices are compliant with cyber security regulation
- Collaborate closely with project teams, project management, and developers to fulfill cyber security objectives
- Ensure communication to various stakeholders
- Responsibilities will vary between cyber security tasks and general embedded software development
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Experience with cyber security regulatory requirements (EU/US)
- Experienced with embedded software development
- Experienced with secure embedded implementation/architecture: secure coding, secure boot, secure update, static code analysis with focus on cyber security
- Knowledge of cyber security testing methods, tools, etc.
- Ability to take the lead and responsibility – drive, execute and deliver cyber security initiatives
- Strong teamwork capabilities and interpersonal skills
- Great communication skills to effectively communicate across sites
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge and understanding of medical device development and design control
- Degree in software engineering, computer science, or other related fields
- Proficient in embedded software development
- Experience with data encryption planning and implementation: communication interfaces wired as well as wireless, risk analysis including threat analysis
- Experience with UL 2900, 62304, 60601, design control, and other related standards
- Experience and skills in writing and maintaining technical documentation
