KBX Technology Solutions, LLC, a provider of transportation technology to industry leaders, is seeking an Cloud Implementation Leader. This role will lead a team of cloud, data, and software engineers that are responsible for implementation and lifecycle of core platform infrastructure as well as providing operations support for our modern software as a service (SaaS) Platform. Responsibilities include implementing, managing, and supporting the KBX Platform (core infrastructure, data, and DevOps capabilities) to enable product teams to provide the most connected transportation management system. The qualified candidate will have a solid understanding of the organization(s) and outcomes being supported in the business's mission and apply it to the platform implementation and support team’s capabilities and roadmap.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead KBXT implementation & operations capability by collaborating with architects on technology roadmaps, and leading the execution for the core platform components
  • Lead the platform operations capability by creating frameworks and processes to support the KBXT commercial software.
  • Partner with application support organization to enable them to take on recurring support items
  • Demonstrate strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernization
  • Possess and maintain a strong working knowledge of multi-platform technical environments. Serve as a leader, consultant, and mentor in software, data, and cloud architecture concepts and implementation for the team
  • Use market research, industry and competitive analysis and environmental factors in determining where the architects should focus their efforts
  • Contribute to the prioritization of the product backlog to meet customer/user demand, value, and profit
  • Leverage proven change management practices to ensure adoption of delivered capabilities and measure success
  • Lead the implementation and operation team with integrity, confidence, humility, and empowerment. Promote a culture of change, excellence, and innovation

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience managing and leading IT operation and support teams
  • Experience working within Cloud Infrastructure OR Cloud-Native Application OR Cloud Development OR Container Orchestration (Kubernetes) teams
  • Experience working in an Agile environment creating structure and processes
  • Experience working directly with product teams and cross functionally within the organization

  • Experience leading the development of strategic technology direction and architecting vision for an organization
  • Experience strategically leading efforts supporting long-term goals and a developing a roadmap
  • Experience with software architecture and practices (design/development/deployment, Agile, DevSecOps, SCRUM)

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000- $175,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
