Guardian’s México division is currently seeking an individual to fill the new position of Maintenance Supervisor. This position will be based at the México Division, located in El Marqués, Queretaro facility, and is a key position. What You Will Do In Your Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will have to guide your team through the generation of an adequate work environment where their direct reports can self-actualize in order to potentiate their comparative advantages and create capacity in them through the generation of new knowledge that helps them to continuously improve their development and increase their motivation for contribution creating high performance teams.

  • Ensure that the team is connected with a business vision that is transformative, seeking its progress under the generation and development of capacities that help the organization to transform. 
  • Work with people to develop a set of responsibilities that are aligned with the vision of the business based on the talents and virtues that each team member has, seeking through their comparative advantages to potentiate the results of the employee and the organization. 
  • Provide coaching and feedback continously to help employees recognize the good and bad things they each do within their role so they can be motivated to contribute and succeed in the organization.
  • Generate an environment that seeks to challenge the employee to acquire and learn new knowledge that will help them to continuously improve, seeking personal transformation, as well as the transformation of the organization. 
  • Ensure that the maintenance activities that are under their responsibility are always carried out under the vision of security approach, complying with each and every one of the guidelines established by the company. 
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities in order to keep machinery, equipment and plant facilities in the best conditions. • Make sure that the activities assigned to your work team are executed on time and in accordance with the maintenance plan. 
  • Lead activities focused on reliability systems giving support in their execution and coordination. 
  • In charge of monitoring the performance of the personnel under his charge through the application of clear and precise objectives that help detect opportunities for improvement to increase the performance of the team. 
  • Work in coordination with engineers and maintenance planners in order to propose changes or improvements to the maintenance plan or activities based on the findings found during their execution. 
  • Give support to each and every one of the areas (quality, production, processes, warehouse, etc…) from the point of view of maintenance in order to sustain and improve the quality of our product. 

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Similar experience covering the maintenance supervisor role.  
  • Proficient knowledge of maintenance procedures (preventive, predictive and reliability concepts).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities. 
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff. 
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback to the direct reports. 
  • Experience leading group of people above of 10 persons 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor Degree in Electronic, Mechanic, Mecatronic or equivalent. 
  • Managing of maintenance management software. 
  • Proeficient in MS Office. 
  • Intermediate English
