Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking an SAP Procure to Pay Solution Lead that wants to join our team that will implement the next generation of knowledge systems centered on SAP S/4 Hana ERP for our Building Products businesses. The primary focus for this role is as a hands-on leader that will be designing, documenting, and implementing the Procure to Pay functionality that will be implemented as part of a digital transformation project.
LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA (HYBRID)
What You Will Do In Your Role
Functional expertise with requisitions, purchase orders, Advanced Shipment Notices, goods receipts, invoice receipts, as well as interfaces between the Ariba Supplier Network, Invoice Management, Buyer Network, and other procurement systems. This role will work directly with business partners and other Source to Pay team members to identify and provide solutions to functional gaps, gather requirements for enhancements, translate requirements into system design, and support the necessary configuration and testing.
- Collaborating with business and consulting counterparts to lead the Procure to Pay solution implementation
- Configuring and designing SAP functionality and processes
- Supporting all phases of the project lifecycle from design through build, test and deploy
- Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams in their efforts to leverage solutions to automate and improve business processes; Assessing best practices, trends, and process implementation strategies to optimize solution
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Communicating effectively & respectfully challenging all levels of the business and IT organizations
- Providing configuration rationales, functional specifications, test plans and other required documentation
- Defining, executing and supporting testing of the solution
- Coaching and developing team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development
- Knowledge of S4HANA Procure to Pay module transactions and functionality
- Knowledge of S4HANA integration technologies (PO/PI, CIG, etc.)
- Knowledge of ARIBA solutions (P2O, Guided buying, Commerce Automation, Sourcing & Contracts, etc)
- Experience with S/4 HANA and Fiori with full life-cycle implementations
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build partnerships with individual users and/or teams at all levels
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and functional/technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, business writing and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with various workstreams on identifying and solving multiple integration touch point issues
- Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous initiatives
- Ability to explore alternatives, recommend outcomes, and establish a course of action to accomplish specific goals
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- SAP experience in SAP Procure to Pay
- 3+ full-lifecycle SAP implementations
- Functional / technical proficiency in designing, configuring, and/or implementing SAP MM
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience implementing transformational ERP projects
- SAP S/4HANA experience and/or training
- Experience with PO/PI
- Experience with ABAP
- Experience using interface solutions such as EDI/IDOC/API transaction capabilities with internal or external applications through middleware data transformation
