The Software Engineer – Development Support Specialist will be a part of an global team creating new solutions as well as improving existing solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees.

 Applications scope:

TNS a Koch company, is looking for a Development Support Specialist to be part of a team that maintains, enhances and supports the TNS Park Charge and Gateway products. The TNS Park Charge and Gateway products are a suite of backend, frontend and API software used to transport/process financial transactions. This suite of software is developed on the Linux environment using Java, JavaScript, PHP and PostgreSQL.

The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and eager to learn our technologies. Most importantly the candidate should enjoy troubleshooting, customer service, automating processes, testing and providing bug fixes. Their main responsibilities will be

* Support and assist in investigating and resolving production issues related to the TNS POS software/services.

* Participate in software release procedures, testing, reproduce production issues, system administration and assist developers in evaluating the capacity of the software developed.

* Provide training and documentation for Sales/Operations

* Participate in an agile development SDLC as a co-Product Owner

* Participate in requirements gathering/analysis and estimation

What You Will Need To Bring With You:

(experience & education required)

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Eng or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of experience in the Payments industry or transaction processing environment
• At least 8 years of experience in supporting and deploying software
• Excellent in scripting languages (Perl, Bash)
• Reliable, dependable and available to support customers during off hours
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good troubleshooting and investigative skills
• Experience with build and release management
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS protocols
• Experience developing Java/J2EE applications and Rest/Soap APIs
• Linux OS Support
