What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Ensure local manufacturing and operations are proactively supported and do not experience a shutdown due to any computer systems issues.

  • Support local project initiatives which require IT involvement as directed by local site management and Operations leaders that meet standards for PCN and Business Network

  • Continued hunger to find opportunities to introduce new ways to deliver better results using NextGen technologies and services.

  • Technical lead for set-up of all local Site Equipment while additionally recommending – via standards – optimal solutions (don’t be an order taker, be an engaged partner).

  • Utilizes the internal Compass helpdesk to help manage customer engagements and requests

  • Assures regional projects adhere to corporate standards, documenting exceptions and presenting to management. Provides regional management with on-going updates.

  • Responsible for Relationship Management with other internal groups. Coordinate plans and activities that involve the maintenance and set up of the local infrastructure.

  • Operates as local support for server, storage and network activities at the site and acts under direction from KGS regional group regarding these activities (when Corporate team unable to resolve).

  • Be part of global support team provide remote support in IT operations and projects.

  • Communicates system activities to management and other departments affected by the network performance.

  • Partner with OT Engineers to better understand how IT and OT align to achieve Line-of-Business deliverables.

The Experience You Will Bring



    · 5+ Years of Infrastructure support experience

    · 2+ Years of Infrastructure Projects and Solutioning


    · Experience in a customer support environment

    · Experience in a Manufacturing environment

    · 2+ Years of working with Cloud platforms

    · 2+ years of support Linux based systems

    · O365 Experience: Teams, Cloud Voice, SharePoint, OneNote

    · Problem solving skills that demonstrate the ability to identify problems, determine causes, evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations

    · Proven experience with effective translation between Technical and Non-Technical Persons.

    · Ability to work in an environment that requiring the courage to challenge the status quo and the humility to accept feedback (positive and for growth).

    · Apply an appropriate sense of urgency to business and IT problems; keeping customer updated on actions impact business continuity.

    · Ability to work outside nontraditional hours (M-F: 8am-5pm) when necessary.


    · Coding and development skills (2+ Years)

    · Cloud Platform solutioning

    · Technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot across multiple IT infrastructure disciplines

    · Knowledge of manufacturing systems
