What You Will Do In Your Role

The Technology Leader will be responsible for overseeing the GP IT technology teams build and delivery activities on the GP Building Products Catalyst project.

Our Vision is to be the catalyst that provokes and accelerates the pace of Building Products business transformation enabling superior returns through the advancement of new and existing capabilities across people, data, and technology.

Specifically, Catalyst will be the implementation of a greenfield implementation of S/4 HANA and surrounding SAP capabilities in addition to a series of integrated edge applications to create an end-to-end solution for GP Building products. We will also be integrated with GP and Koch corporate systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Learn and applyPrinciple Based Managementin all that you do and become all you can be.
  • This is a supervisory role that will have direct reports.
  • Lead and manage multiple teams to ensure the delivery of the technology aspects of the project. Additionally, provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Provide management and oversight of the Catalyst technology build activities in the following areas in partnership with the systems integrator

o SAP Application development

o Integration

o User Experience

o SAP Infrastructure

o non-SAP application development

  • You will be responsible for working with technical teams internal and external to ensure outcomes, delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality
  • Ensure alignment to long-term strategies and architectural approaches.
  • Partner with leaders and systems integrator to acquire the necessary resources to execute project deliverables.
  • You will be responsible for reporting status to the Catalyst PMO
  • You will be responsible for identifying and raising issues and to develop mitigation plans and executing these plans.
  • You will partner with project managers, vendors, and sister companies, and global team members.
  • The role is seen as a key member of the IT organization partnering with other business and IT leaders to deliver upon the vision of catalyst

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience managing technology delivery on a large multi-year transformation project
  • Experience in implementing SAP solutions (S/4, ECC, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of program delivery methodologies and tools

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 
  • Experience in full life cycle SAP implementations
  • Experience implementing ERP systems
  • Offshore leadership experience
