Position Summary: RELCO is looking for an Assistant Purchasing Agent to join the team. In this role you will aid the Purchasing Agent by assisting, organizing, and controlling any areas as directed. This role also ensures that RELCO has the appropriate non-stock tools and supplies to complete projects within budget and on schedule.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Provide delivery status of purchased materials for orders on a weekly basis & immediately notify appropriate company personnel in the event of late or uncertain deliveries that may affect schedules.
  • Make inventory adjustments for quantities used by the shop and field; return any returnable non-stock inventory items to vendor.
  • Document receiving’s and file all Purchase Orders (POs) & any other paperwork associated to a job.
  • Coordinate the physical delivery of purchased materials with Construction Supervisors or Shipping personnel if needed.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies when they occur and make necessary corrections.
  • Return overstocked inventory whenever deemed necessary.

    The Experience You Will Bring


    • Experience working in an office setting completing administrative tasks, preferably in a supply chain department.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
