Application Team Lead

The Applications Team Lead will be a part of a global team creating new solutions as well as improving existing solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. As KTC rapidly scales up its operations in India, it’s employees will get opportunities to carve out a career path for themselves within the organization. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees.

Applications Team Lead will report to the Delivery Manager of the KTC and will be responsible for providing leadership to create valuable solutions for KBS and the customers. The Applications Team Lead will measure outcomes and direct the applicable action. The Applications Team Lead will be responsible for application solutions delivered from the KTC and will manage Application resources located in the KTC. The Applications Team Lead will be responsible for the performance and development of talent in the KTC Applications Team. The Applications Team will work closely with their global counterparts on enterprise wide delivery.

A Day In The Life Could Include:

• · Be a good people manager , manage the team and represents a point of escalation for the team.
• · Team lead responsible for coaching and mentoring others on standard processes and technical best practices.
• · Knowledge of ITIL including IT implementation methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.) or equivalent IT service management training & experience.
• · Plan and track the work schedule and resource utilization
• · Highlight any delays / issues and work on mitigation plan
• · Participate in team selection and hiring and coaching
• · Communicate with the relevant stakeholders
• · Be trusted partner and work together to deliver value from KGSI
• · Understand the business Roadmap and vision. Get the team aligned with business priorities and goals
• · Focus on building high performing team.

What You Will Need To Bring With You:

(experience & education required)

• · Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with more than 10+ years of technology experience
• · Strong communication, collaboration, & customer focus skills
• · 3+ years of experience leading and managing a software engineering team
• · 2+ years of experience leveraging AGILE/DEVOPS practices
• · SQL Server or similar database technology knowledge
• · 1-2 years of experience in working with Application production support activities.
• Strong customer focus, communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
