Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Training & Support Specialist - REMOTE BASED



Guardian Industries has an immediate need for a remote-based Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Training & Support Specialist. The selected individual will be responsible for new and existing reliability process transformation, development, and improvements. The EAM Training & Support Specialist will work in a collaborative setting and communicate with Guardian manufacturing facilities throughout the world.

The desired candidate will provide technical training and be a change leader to support Infor EAM technology. The candidate must interact with global operations at all levels to deliver training and provide organizational change as part of the EAM Transformation. Long-term value creation for Guardian Glass will be provided through user adoption and long-term sustainment of the EAM Transformation. This candidate will support training environments and organizational change throughout the full lifecycle of the EAM platform.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Communicate and align personnel with the vision for EAM Transformation and other reliable manufacturing process transformations for Guardian operations
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and develop to become a SME for all functionality of the EAM platform. This includes:
    • Impact and enablement of the EAM platform on current and to-be processes and procedures for operations and maintenance
    • Collaborate and share knowledge with all operations capabilities to assist with transformation of current state with EAM as an enabler
  • Develop “help desk” process for ongoing support after full implementation across all sites. This includes:
    • Design, develop, refine, and provide training for all functionalities and workflow processes enabled by the EAM environment.
    • Partner with Accenture, ICS and Reliability core teams of EAM Transformation to develop and refine globally standardized training criteria and materials
    • Develop multiple forms of initial, hyper care and sustaining training for EAM
    • Understand and develop multiple methods of delivering the standardized training for EAM
    • Develop standardized training including materials for Guardian workflows as pertains to the use of EAM platform
    • Provide face-to-face and/or virtual training to each site as part of EAM implementation process
    • Provide support post go-live for site users
    • Work with sites to develop schedules for pre and post go-live training
    • Continuously identify training opportunities to continuously improve training materials and delivery
  •  Partner Reliability and Communications capability to coordinate and communicate change leadership plans. This includes:
    • Coordinate with each site being implemented to gather unique training and change leadership opportunities that may exist
    • Develop and support the identification of change impacts and communication strategy development
    • Support the identification of business readiness requirements
    • Collaborate with SS&P, EU, AMIEA and site SMEs to identify changes from current processes, procedures and data impacts for after EAM go-live
    • Work with Koch global communications group to develop and deliver continuous communications of the EAM Transformation to individual sites, regions and globally 
  •  Demonstrate strong communication skills are required to project information in a professional manner to both technical and non-technical groups
  • Demonstrate an open mind with a strong desire to work with and contribute to an innovative team

The Experience You Will Bring



  • Bachelor's degree OR experience developing an EAM training criteria
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience in an industrial environment 
  • Operations / maintenance process knowledge & experience in developing and providing training to diverse groups
  • Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Experience leading through influence & driving operational change
  • Experience in technical writing and presentations
  • Willingness to travel globally 50% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Educational or work experience with a working knowledge of reliability methodologies and strategies (Certified Reliability Professional – CMRP/CAMA).
  • Implementation experience with CMMS//EAM platforms
  • Experience with Infor products (EAM, UAP etc.)

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000 - $90,000 USD per year.
