Coord, Sales Development

Position Overview:

  • Molex is seeking a dynamic Technical Support Coordinator to assist our Americas Sales Organization handling pre-sales design support alongside general inquiries from our partners, customers, and internal parties. This role within our Sales Development Group, will need to work closely with our product engineering teams bringing solutions for technical questions and aid in new design opportunities for Molex. The Sales Development Group is located in Guadalaraja, Mexico and offers a hybrid work environment that supports strong team collaboration.
  • As a Technical Support Coordinator, you will also work alongside a team of Sales Development Coordinators and collaborate on various inside sales activities. The team will work together to provide prompt responses on both technical and non-technical inquiries. The Sales Support team will also provide additional project management for field sales and their Strategic Accounts. 

 Essential Functions:

  • Interact with partners and customers during new design activities by providing updates, feedback, and additional information to keep customer satisfied throughout the process
  • Continuous learning of Molex product offerings and become subject matter expert
  • Build strong internal network of Bussiness Development Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers
  • Support extensive product-cross activities and provide product substitutes when necessary
  • Collaborate with both inside and outside internal sales teams to understand sales process
  • Working closely with distribution partners to provide an excelling customer experience by responding timely and accurately to both simple technical questions to complex design needs
  • Identify new leads and opportunities and work close with sales to close business
  • Work alongside teammates to offer front-line support and executes results to full resolution
  • Facilitates customer escalations and needs from internal Sale Teams
  • Seeks out missing technical document requests for customers and sales teams
  • Process various Salesforce reports and maintenance request from sales teams
  •  Coordinate with the product divisions on compliance with customer Environmental, Health, Safety and Corporate Responsibility 

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree (Engineering desired)
  • Experience in similar Manufacturing or Interconnect Industries
  • English Professional Proficiency

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of Application Engineering, 
  • Technical Support, or SalesUnderstanding of Customer Service 
  • CompetencesExperience with SAP and/or Salesforce
