Georgia-Pacific’s IT Enterprise Services team is seeking thought leaders to coach and lead Agile delivery transformation efforts. Reporting to the Enterprise Delivery Practice Lead, Agile Coaches help shape our delivery capability from the ground up. They also advise technology and business stakeholders across our organization to rollout, sustain, and mature Agile delivery practices. Agile Coach roles are based out of our Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. In person collaboration is fundamental to our culture and journey. Agile Coaches should expect to work on-site to develop the practice with ability to work remotely as team maturity is established and schedules allow.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Train and mentor teams, programs, and portfolio stakeholders on the best practices of Scrum, Kanban and scaled agile approaches.
- Create and execute collaborative coaching plans to mature and optimize team/program/portfolio delivery performance.
- Identify organizational impediments that hinder Agile delivery performance and influence the resolution by developing collaborative partnerships.
- Evaluate maturity of Agile practices and delivery performance across teams.
- Support and contribute to the Agile Community of Practice as a thought leader, evolving the practice.
- Serve in a hands-on Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer role as needed to enable teams in practical application.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
3+ years of experience training, coaching and mentor teams, programs, and portfolio stakeholders on the best practices of Scrum, Kanban and scaled agile approaches.
Experience executing coaching plans to mature and optimize team, program and portfolio delivery performance
Experience with evaluating the maturity of Agile practices and delivery performance across teams
Experience in enabling and sustaining scaled Agile programs (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- Possessing at least one or more advanced Agile certifications (e.g., CSP, CAC, SPC, etc.)
- Experience in a client-facing or internal consulting role
- Experience in Product Management and/or DevOps
