Molex, LLC is seeking a Regional Distribution Sales Manager that will support and grow the Molex distribution sales channel within the region. This person would be the primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers, and sales personnel for Molex’s key distributors. The RDSM will be responsible for quotation support, product training, inventory requirements, promotions, distribution demand creation and coordination of quarterly business reviews. The primary territory scope for this role will be WA, OR, ID, MT, and Western Canada

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Quote activity and follow up.
  • Quarterly Business reviews with focus distributors.
  • Plan and conduct regular distribution product trainings.
  • Coordinate and implement sales incentives and promotions for regional distribution business.
  • Create, track, and follow up with Molex and Distributor personnel on demand creation focus account distributor programs
  • Maintain Molex Distributor Registration program.
  • Maintain a regular call frequency at all regional core distributors.
  • Understand, support and contribute to the Molex/Koch culture (Principle Based Management) as well as the current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an outside sales role in the electronics industry or similar field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work well with team and customers with an ability to influence customer decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate and also to engage customers’ attention.
  • Able to organize and prioritize own workload and handle multiple tasks.
  • Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office applications

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering related area; additional course work on advanced degree in Business administration (MBA).
  • Direct experience working with distributor partners, and/or product management or marketing experience.
