Molex LLC is seeking a Logistic Doc Admin to support our warehouse facility in Bolingbrook, IL. 

Our Logistics Doc Admin is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials through a company’s supply chain. They work with truck drivers, shipping companies, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure that shipments arrive on time and in good condition.

This position may also be responsible for tracking, scheduling, managing freight appointments. Ensuring freight documents are up-to-date and ready for outbound compliance.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Responsibilities can include: scheduling, making calls, organizing shipment documentation, invoicing and coordinating with warehouse personnel the pick up of shipments
  • Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all goods being shipped to ensure that freight can be booked efficiently
  • Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange pickup and delivery of cargo
  • Communicating with other departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time
  • Communicating with customers or brokers to arrange for pickup of shipments or delivery of goods
  • Coordinating shipping activities with customs agencies to ensure that all legal requirements are met
  • Monitoring the status of shipments and updating customer accounts with information about delivery status
  • Coordinating with vendors to arrange for shipping services such as trucking, rail transport, or ocean freight

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • One or more years of experience working in logistics (Customer Service, Coordination, Dispatching)

      What Will Put You Ahead

      • A degree in business with a focus on supply Chain or logistics
      • Ability to communicate effectively, be organized, multitask driven
      • Experience with a warehouse management system
