What You Will Do In Your Role
- Lead and support Molex Operating System (MOS) deployment and related initiatives.
- Mentor Business Impact Projects (BIP), work alongside with Champion to guide the project leaders to complete the BIP align to Molex Vision.
- Participate & support in Molex Project Fusion implementation.
- Provide assistance and be a resource to functional departments and business units in identifying, planning and implementing BIP, Six Sigma & Lean projects.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design philosophy, theory, applications, tools and tactics.
- Translate MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design principles into practical application. Translate these initiatives into digital control.
- Focus on Digital Lean which combine the value stream analysis and design, with the digitization initiatives to reduce waste and improve traceability.
- Poses process engineering experience. Able to understand and analyze processes by using value stream &flow study, time study, motion study and other Lean & Six Sigma tools.
- Gain and maintain commitment from team members through continual training, education and coaching.
- Take necessary actions to resolve or escalate issues/problems.
- Lead assigned teams throughout the problem-solving efforts and identify barriers to the effective implementation of the MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design process.
- Report on project status and management/project reviews through the established project tracking system, as appropriate.
- Fully understand the impact to the customer of MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design process improvement projects and customer requirements regarding process change.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal personnel to eliminate any potential negative impact.
- Mentor, support and assist Green, LEAN, Yellow Belts in their process improvement projects by sharing expertise to ensure successful project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design and Company approved policies and procedures.
- Required to train Mid-Level Management in their respective philosophy and methodologies including Green, LEAN and Yellow Belts. Black Belts will help in the training, developing, and supporting the certification of Green Belt & LEAN Belt candidates.
- Work with HOD to develop and execute MOS, Six Sigma, LEAN and Value Stream Design and other improvement strategies along with the management of the Continuous Improvement & BIP team.
- Provides input and guidance to Champion(s) on a systems and technical basis for the Business Impact Project selection and execution. Identify and work with Champions to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful completion of a MOS, BIP and Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Supports Champions in identifying appropriate personnel from his/her organization to function in the various roles such as Green Belts and Lean Belts.
- Assist Champions in identifying key projects that will provide the optimum benefits to our customers and the business results.
- Acts as a resource to Champions in support of their efforts to make Molex Operational Excellence ‘The way we do business’ and to deliver the expected results.
- Coordinates communication activities by publicizing goals, plans, progress and results.
- Coordinates reward and recognition program for the BIP participants.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
The Experience You Will Bring
- At least green belt certified
- Min 8 years in manufacturing field
