About the Role

INVISTA is seeking a contribution minded Accountant to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. This position will engage, challenge, and provide fulfillment to a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and economic focus who enjoys collaborating with others, and who seeks to originate ideas that can provide new insights for our business.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Perform accounting activities in compliance with financial, regulatory, and INVISTA accounting policies and guidelines
  • Responsible for global financial reporting balance sheet and income statement accuracy and analysis
  • Responsible for performing systematic closing responsibilities and coordinating workflow streams across global accounting organization
  • Identify and drive process improvements/innovations
  • Problem solve accounting and reporting issues
  • Communicate effectively across multiple areas of the global Controller’s Organization

    The Experience You Will Bring

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
    • Previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

      What Will Put You Ahead

      • 1+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role 
      • Previous SAP experience
