FPGA Hardware Designer

As a FPGA Hardware Designer you will contribute thru the development and knowledge of FPGA solutions that will benefit the customer and improve the feature set and functionality of our products.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Contribute to product architecture discussions thru the skillful presentation of FPGA capabilities and applications within the product design.
  • Participate in schematic design reviews with a focus on proper implementation of FPGA’s in the hardware design
  • Generating high quality documentation outlining the FPGA design to ensure clear communication of block functionality to the Firmware/BSP team
  • Complete both block and top-level designs
  • Generate test benches to verify code to ensure seamless delivery to other functional teams

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Design Engineering
  • 4+ years’ experience in FPGA design and verification
  • As an FPGA Designer you have strong experience with:
    • FPGA design flow and process, using Vivado and/or Quartus environments
    • FPGA design simulation, verification, and test bench development
    • Timing critical design, Timing closure and timing constraint

What Will Put You Ahead

    • Design and debug of SoC device such as (7-series / Ultra scale, Cyclone 5), etc.
    • Verifying, Testing, and debugging in hardware, using ILA.
    • Proficient in programming in VHDL and/or Verilog.
    • Experience in IP block development and verification.
    • Familiarity with Ethernet protocols, Ethernet switch, serial communication protocols
    • Experience with mission critical and functional safety development process is an asset
