Molex (a Koch Industries company) is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our OCM Team, supporting our Global Supply Chain function. This role will work closely with the Senior Leads and will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact communication to our digital teams, business stakeholders, executives, and end-users, in support of our communication strategy. This individual will be expected to bring insights and knowledge to develop internal communications tied to business objectives and priorities, as well as create and manage communication campaigns. The Specialist will be responsible for planning and execution of the communication strategy, including managing and overseeing regular communications touchpoints, townhalls, newsletters, and support message development for leaders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional relationship building skills, have an executive presence and able to collaborate and drive results in a global organization. Candidates must have the ability to work with others at all levels of the organization to drive successful outcomes. Candidates must bring the ability to “connect the dots” and balance that with tactical skills to provide communication support across multiple levels.

This position is open to remote work in the US, with a preference for the Chicago area.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Establish an internal communications plan to support the strategy for our digital transformation initiative including newsletters, email campaigns, webinars, video scripts, townhalls, program website, talking points, infographics, and more
  • Plan, edit, write, and oversee content development for a variety of internal communications channels and mediums, including townhalls, newsletters, internal website, presentations, videos, and more across multiple internal communication channels
  • Work closely with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure internal communications and engagement activities support program goals and Molex’s values and culture
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking calendar for events and content that delivers compelling stories and creates engagement and excitement
  • Work to align internal communications messages to create consistency across all mediums and for various business units/sites
  • Maintain monthly progress reports on internal communications goal and objectives to the program leaders
  • Use insight and measurement tools to measure effectiveness of internal communications strategies and channels, reporting progress to the OCM Team monthly and Leadership as needed
  • Work with colleagues throughout the business to ensure deep understanding of the value of the transformation and all key elements of both customer and employee benefit
  • Engage and work with key leaders across the transformation team (senior leadership, Division leaders, Business Unit Leadership, etc.)
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Global Marketing, as needed, to drive Molex-wide communication and customer experience communication

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience in an internal communications role
  • Experience in copy writing and editing with the ability to adapt writing/communication style depending on audience
  • Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, other)

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy.

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $90,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
