This job is focused on providing superior reception skills along with communication and organizational skills necessary to serve as the first point of contact and to manage general administrative tasks that support all departments. The tasks are performed routine in nature following policies and procedures.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Reception Coverage
  • Coordinate & process engineering shipments and provide tracking information as required
  • Assist Operations Supervisor with facility maintenance (vendors, signage, repairs)
  • Assist Operations Supervisor to plan, coordinate and purchase required items in an efficient manner to support employee events
  • Manage Fitness Program (Gym Waiver/Membership; Fitness Reimbursement)
  • General office maintenance
  • Perform regular reception duties including booking and maintaining conference rooms as required
  • Order office supplies, including business cards
  • Order lunches as requested
  • Arrangement for Visitors when requested
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects related to your functions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Inform management of trouble spots in advance before more problems occur and propose cost effective solutions
  • Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience in  customer service and/or reception/office administration
  • Strong customer service skills (pleasant manner both phone and email, good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills)
  • Computer knowledge of MS applications (Word, Excel and Power Point) 
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills


What Will Put You Ahead

  • High School diploma and related admin assistant courses
  • 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service and/or Reception/Office Administration
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Exceptional time management skills
