Georgia-Pacific’s Green Bay paper processing facility (Ecosource) is searching for an Assistant Shift Lead to support our operations at our paper processing facility on 7th street in Green Bay, WI.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lift truck and small front loader operation
  • Working knowledge of all processing equipment
  • Assist in coordinating work activities for entire shift
  • Interpret and enforce company work policies with major emphasis on safety
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
  • Knowledge of all paper and plastic grade specifications
  • Train and orientate new workers
  • Provide administrative support ie; record keeping, attendance, answering phones, dealing with truck drivers, processing load paperwork, etc.
  • Fill in for Shift Lead as needed
  • Direct shift tailgate meetings
  • Help build sustainability of the 24/7 safety workshop concepts and provide coaching.

The Experience You Will Bring


  • Good basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to pass in-house lift truck and front loader training program
  • Must be able to give direction using translation
  • Must be able to work in dusty, dirty, warm/cold environment
  • Must be able to work independently and be self motivated
  • Must be able to effectively speak and write English
  • Minimum of three years manufacturing or related experience
  • Qualified candidate must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
