Georgia-Pacific has openings for Lead Machine Operator at our NEW-AIR CONDITIONED facility just outside Phoenix AZ, in Tolleson.

This role works a Dupont schedule (rotating 24/7 shifts) which ends up giving you 13 weeks a year off and only working 14 days out of the month. What is a Dupont Schedule? Click here to find out.

This position starts at $26.00 and will offer a $2,500 sign on bonus!!!

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Perform necessary functions to operate the line with minimal supervision while maintaining facility standards in productivity, waste, and quality standards
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments; operates in line systems with minimal supervision
• Consistently looks for improvements and efficiencies to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards set
• Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively 

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience operating production machinery
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing , military, or industrial environment
• Previous web manufacturing or continuous manufacturing experience
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Other Considerations/Physical Requirements

• This role works rotating 24x7 shifts (12 hours), with a 7-day break in every 28-day period.
• Willing and able to work on your feet for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 35lbs. occasionally
