Logistics Allocator



Georgia-Pacific’s Logistics Division is looking for a Shift Allocator to join our team at our Broadway location. As a Shift Allocator, the primary responsibility is to manage the flow of loads and determine their destination, as well prioritize upcoming loads.

A successful candidate will be fluent in computer programs, have a high attention to detail and enjoy working with a team to achieve productivity goals.

 Shift Allocators work a rotating 12-hour shift that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours. Our starting wage is based on experience. Team members also receive a full benefits package, overtime opportunities, and two (2) weeks of vacation prorated for the first year.

External applicants are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus equal to 15% of the total earnings from the first 90 calendar days of employment.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Responsible for prioritizing loads
  • Monitor and manage thresholds 
  • Responsible for staging loads for Material Handlers to load into trailers 
  • Act as a liaison between KBX/Customer Service/Supply Management as needed via phone and e-mail
  • Participate in daily meetings 
  • Oversee inbound loads for upcoming orders 
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to become adaptable to sudden changes in workflow
  • Willing and able to work 12 hour rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
