Systems Analyst - SAP ABAP

  • Need Candidate with 7-10yrs. of experience holding strong ABAP programming language skills required to complete the development.

  1. Data dictionary, Reports, Enhancements, Smartforms, Adobe forms.
  2. Worked on Object Oriented ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs
  3. Basic knowledge in Webdynpro, floor plan manager & SAP Workflow.
  4. SAP development tools, debugging techniques & performance tuning.
  5. Knowledge in new technologies Odata, HANA, SAP Fiori / Ui5 is good to have.
  6. Knowledge in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) good to have.

  •  Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to understand the comprehension level of the user and communicate effectively with them.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving techniques to develop programs and systems that are efficient and effective at providing the functionality requested.
  • Develop technical specifications from which applications will be written based on business requirements.
  • Design, develop and modify programs, objects and process to complete smaller projects as well as supporting larger complex projects.
  • Ability to develop test plans and perform comprehensive functionality tests of new and updated applications to verify desired results are achieved.
  • Must be proactive, flexible.
  • Learn the characteristics of new systems and update skills to adapt to changing technology.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences.
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours to accommodate team members in other time zones


  • Develops technical specifications based on the business requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ABAP development .
  • Ability to analyze the estimated time for development.
  • Works as a team member within own IT group and other IT departments to implement new or system changes. 
  • Designs, develops, codes, and tests programs for SAP modules and functions using ABAP programming language
  • Provides ongoing system and programming support in responsible area. Design and deliver training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary.
  • Performs functionality tests of new and updated applications and systems to verify desired results are achieved. Evaluates results and coordinates or makes modifications to improve system performance. Creates test plans as required.
  • Follows established methodologies during system development and ensures systems adhere to the standards and procedures established by the IT department. Develops and maintains all system related documentation.
  • Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
