Primary Purpose

  1. Facilitate all aspects of GLSS activities and culture changes across organization to improve operational effieiency and effectiveness.
  2. Facilitate and conduct appropriate GLSS tool training to enhance people’s capability.
  3. Provide necessary to support troubleshoot in regards to ongoing production as well as with new product introduction. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  1. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma philosophy, theory, applications, tools and tactics. 
  2. Facilitate to execute plant strategy and provide lean expertise & guidance through focused and sustainable value stream transformation to enable cross-functional collaboration and best practice sharing & implementation. 
  3. As business partner, facilitate responsible Operations/Depts. to continuously improve operational performance. 
  4. Lead assigned teams throughout the problem solving efforts, identifying barriers to the effective implementation of lean & six sigma process and taking the necessary action to resolve or escalate issues/problems. 
  5. Report as appropriate on project status through the established project tracking system and manage project reviews. 
  6. Maintain an awareness of impact to the customer of process improvement projects, as well as customer requirements regarding process change, ensuring effective communication is maintained to eliminate any potential negative impact. 
  7. Mentor and coach Lean & Six Sigma Green Belts candidates. Support development of a pipeline of GB team members able to drive business result. 
  8. Ensure compliance with Lean Production, TQM, Six Sigma and Company approved policies and procedures. 
  9. Provide necessary lean & six sigma tools training to develop targeted people’s capability on PDCA & DMAIC methodology application.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. 

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  1.  A basic university degree in either science or engineering. Certified SixSigma BB or equivalent 
  2. At least 5 years of product or process engineering experience, quality assurance, business management or human resources.  
  3. At least 3 years of Lean manufacturing & six sigma implementation and project experience. 
  4. Must be able to work with all levels of employees in the factory and possess.  
  5. Six Sigma BB level statistical skill. 
  6. Rich Lean Production knowledge. 
  7. Good facilitation and presentation skill. 
  8. Able to conduct training for all levels. 
  9. Working knowledge with computer and statistical software (Minitab) is a must.

What Will Put You Ahead

  1.  Master degree preferred  
  2. Supervisor or manager experience is preferred
  3. Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin is essential.
